Drosera adelae, commonly known as the lance-leaf sundew, is a graceful and easy-to-grow carnivorous plant native to the shaded rainforests of Australia. Its long, slender leaves are covered in glistening, ruby-tipped tentacles that secrete sticky mucilage to trap and digest small insects. Under the right conditions, the foliage can develop a beautiful reddish hue, especially in brighter light, creating a vibrant, dewy display. Unlike many sundews, adelae thrives in lower light and higher humidity, making it an excellent choice for terrariums or indoor growing. It spreads readily through its roots, often producing new plantlets and forming lush colonies over time. With its elegant form, subtle coloration, and forgiving nature, Drosera adelae is a fantastic addition for both beginners and experienced carnivorous plant enthusiasts alike.
